No uniforms. No adults. Just kids having fun with a 25-cent Spaldeen and a sawed off broom stick. And when the stick broke, we nailed it together and taped it up. If that didn’t work we played punch ball. Mostly it was just kids having fun, not having to be told to go outside and play. That’s missing today.

How true Frank . I remember getting out of school and racing home to watch an afternoon playoff game of October baseball. It was a special feeling for some reason . Growing up in Elizabeth we played most of our sports on blacktop . Either a school yard or street . Stick ball, wiffle ball , touch football , basketball and street hockey. Those were the days !

Kolb is a good comparison. I never thought much of Beck and I don’t trust Grossman. Saw Cousins a few times as a senior and liked what I saw. Colts had too many holes to fill to draft a backup, but Skins are in better shape. I think they’ve got a good “just in case” qb.

media is making it out to be more of a problem then it actually is among redskins fan. how bad grossman and beck played last year cousins is probably better than them for a backup. redskins already released beck. all you want your back up to do is manage the gm and not make mistakes which redskins qbs led the league in last year. and i could see them doing what eagles did with kolb.

I’ll check it out, Paul. Probably a lot tougher than it sounds, but it can’t hurt. Thanks. You happy with RGIII? How about adding Kirk Cousins, too? I thought the Skins had too many holes to fill rather than getting a backup, but if they can move him in a year or two for some picks, then it will be a good move.

u have so much knowledge of baseball you should play beat the streak on mlb.com its free and you pick 2 batters a day who you think will get a hit that day, if you get 57 in a row right you win 5.6 million. its been up for 6 years now no one has done it
