		<description><![CDATA[No uniforms. No adults. Just kids having fun with a 25-cent Spaldeen and a sawed off broom stick. And when the stick broke, we nailed it together and taped it up. If that didn&#039;t work we played punch ball. Mostly it was just kids having fun, not having to be told to go outside and play. That&#039;s missing today.]]></description>

Growing up in Elizabeth we played most of our sports on blacktop . Either a school yard or street . Stick ball, wiffle ball , touch football , basketball  and street hockey.
